A family practice, led by a dentist who knows prevention
Dr. Chris Godfrey purchased Lifetime Family Dental in 2019 to build a true family practice, where patients feel like part of the family and most care happens under one roof.

Dr. Godfrey grew up planning to be a dentist, mentored by his grandfather and two uncles who are dentists. He graduated from Bountiful High in 1998 and, after a two-year Spanish-speaking mission to Argentina, married his high school sweetheart, Jill.
Before becoming a dentist he worked as a dental hygienist for seven years and learned the importance of preventive care. Dentists, hygienists, and patients who recognized his skill urged him to continue his education, and he was accepted to dental school at Roseman University in 2012.
He worked in several offices, including corporate and group practices, and saw many good ways to practice and some he wanted to avoid. In 2019 he purchased Lifetime Family Dental and brought the best of those examples with him. He has experience with dental implants, root canal therapy, and oral surgery along with traditional dental procedures.
Jill and Dr. Godfrey have four children: two girls, a boy, and another girl.
Serving beyond our office
Part of what drew Dr. Godfrey to dentistry was seeing a lack of care for children and seniors. He volunteers once a month to provide dental care in nursing homes.
Once a year he travels to Mexico to provide dental care to children living in orphanages.

Implants, root canals, oral surgery, and orthodontics are handled here, so most patients stay with a dentist who knows them.
